In your attempts to create and conquer these delightful recipes of love, remember to garnish your plates/dishes. You can always use fresh lemon wedges, kale greens, cilantro OR celery and carrots,to garnish all of which you will learn about in our below recipe selection.This will set the mood for any romantic dinner or occasion with a smooth transition from the appetizer to the main course:). If I snagged a recipe I liked from a magazine or elsewhere I will tag that recipe with where it came from.

Some recipes will also include a video from yours truly prepping and cooking certain meals to perfection :)

NOTE: Try to keep everything uniformed, i.e. plates, glasses, bowls and salad dishes. Eye sores are created when the dishes are not matching.

Love Struck

Sometimes cooking dinner for two you want to embrace the joy and emotion of love. Adding that raw emotion to your special dish, you come up with something easy, fulfilling and light. Love Struck is the name of this recipe and every hopeless romantic should have it. This delectable dish can be very addictive.

Type: Appetizer/Full Meal

Items Needed:

  • salmon
  • asparagus
  • shrimp
  • baby spinach
  • old bay
  • black pepper
  • fresh lemons

Garnish: Lemon Circles



  1. Steam shrimp until pink.
  2. Place freshly washed baby spinach in the center of a nice serving platter. (create a pile)
  3. You can either peel your shrimp or leave in the shell. Place shrimp on top of the baby spinach pile.
  4. Sprinkle shrimp and baby spinach with old bay.
  5. Garnish with fresh lemon circles. (serve as appetizer)


  1. Season salmon with old bay (not much) 
  2. Add vegetable oil to pan (olive olive burns faster, whichever you prefer)
  3. Sear salmon on both sides
  4. Place on plate, add asparagus


  1. Use a skillet that can fit long asparagus and a fitted top.
  2. Add water to fill the floor of the pan.
  3. Add salt, pepper, old bay to water, bring to a boil.
  4. Usually asparagus has two rubber-bands, one on top and the other at the bottom. Cut the asparagus just above the rubber band holding it together at the bottom. Add to boiling water.
  5. Cover and wait until you can hear a slight frying.
  6. Move asparagus around and cover. (When you boil all water out, asparagus absorbs all herbs and spices)
  7. When you hear frying remove from heat and serve with salmon topped with fresh lemon circles.

U - Turn

In every relationship there are times when you think: Do I want to stay in this relationship or should I leave. Am I wasting my time? Suddenly, the aroma of good home cooking changes your mind and turns you around. They say food is a great way to your lovers heart. I would have to agree!

Type: Full Meal

Items Needed:

  • steak
  • broccoli or brussel sprouts
  • white or jasmine rice
  • fresh lemons
  • A1-Sauce or Worcestershire Sauce

Garnish: Lemon Wedges



  1. Cook your jasmine rice by following the instructions on the package. 
  2. Set to the side

Broccoli or Brussel Sprouts

  1. Use a small amount of water in a pot, start boil.
  2. Add brussel spouts or broccoli, whichever you prefer and cover.
  3. Only cook until green be careful not to cook all nutrients out of the veggie of your choice.


  1. You have two options of either baking or frying your steak. There's nothing better than a fried steak.
  2. Heat up your grease ( I use vegetable oil instead of olive because it doesn't burn as fast)
  3. Place your steak in the pan on medium high heat. Depending on how you like your steak is how many times you should flip it over. If you like your steak medium raw/bloody only cook for short amount of time and flip over once. For medium rare/no blood flip twice. For well done flip four times.

Easy Way Out

On those nights when you love birds would rather go to bed early or get between the sheets to make sweet passionate love; nothing is faster than taking the easy way out when preparing a meal. Cook something easy and simple!

Type: Full Meal/Salad

Items Needed:

  • spaghetti
  • garden sauce
  • onions
  • green peppers
  • romaine salad
  • black pepper
  • old bay
  • fresh kale greens
  • sesame ginger salad dressing

Garnish: Kale Greens


Cutting Ingredients

  1. Get your cutting done first. Cut up your onions, green peppers and place together in a bowl. 

Cooking Your Meat

  1. Add water to a skillet fill the bottom until covered and place ground beef or turkey meat in pan. Also add half the ingredients chopped, cover.
  2. Cook and flip over chopping up meat occasionally. 
  3. When cooked, drain.
  4. Add meat back into drained pan along with the rest of the chopped ingredients. Add Spaghetti sauce, simmer.

Spaghetti & Garnish

  1. While the meat is cooking you boil water for your spaghetti.
  2. Cook to your liking.

Add spaghetti on plate, top with meat sauce, have your side salad and garnish with a leaf of kale in the center.
