Healthy Love

What is up with the Spring and lover's wanting to bail out all of a sudden? Is it because the heat is bringing out the freaks and extra sexiness that some just can't contain themselves or is it simply the warm weather, causing couples grief and chaos?

Wish you could turn back the hands of time when your BMI was reasonable and just maybe your partner will really see you for your dedication and commitment? Let me help by showing you what I have done and other ways to continue striving for a healthy love life all the way around.

Anytime someone mentioned the words 'working out' my eyes would roll, I became distant and I started to eat more. The feeling of depression started to sink in not because I didn't want to get in shape, not because I couldn't do it, but because I was complacent with doing nothing at all. Well, just recently I had an epiphany and asked myself: Why am I making food the center of my world? I have the will power not to do drugs so why am I such a sucker when it came to tasty foods? What's stopping me from getting in good physical shape?

I enjoyed comfort foods for far too long, it was time for a change! I started with changing the way that I thought about food. Instead of always wanting food when I'm not hungry, I decided to only eat when I was hungry. Instead of eating a lot to make up for not eating, I ate smaller portions. Now I can pretty much eat all day with those small portions. I have tried a lot of weight loss systems but found myself giving up too quickly.

Below, is my current plan to getting fit, along with my new diet plan. You will notice when you eat meals consisting of vegetables and meat you slim faster than when you add a starch.

Diet Foods & Meals

Special Note: If you are counting calories be sure not to drink beverages with a calorie count. Water and some other drinks have 0 calorie counts. I wouldn't recommend you drink diet soda as we all know they aren't as good for us as we once thought. Oh, and I did not include fruits here, as there are plenty that we can pick and choose from.

Vegetables

  • Asparagus
  • Broccoli
  • Brussell Sprouts
  • Carrots
  • Corn
  • Greens (Kale)
  • String Beans
  • Cauliflower

Meats

  • Fish
  • Chicken
  • Flank Steak (Cheats)
  • Ground Beef (Cheats)

Starch

If you must have starch:

  • Red Potatoes
  • Thin Spaghetti Noodles (Wheat)
  • Brown Rice

My Daily Work-Out

NOTE: My Daily work out may not work for everyone so please be sure to consult with your physician or nutritionist if you are unsure what you should do.

Everyday Routine

  1. Stretch arms, legs and core sections before work-out
  2. Start out with (5 - 10)  Jumping Jacks - increase when you start to feel comfortable.
  3. (20) Lunges back and forth
  4. A routine I like to call 1-2-3 where you reach up, touch your hips and then touch your toes and you do that about 15 - 20 times.
  5. Guess What: you're all done!!! Eventually you can add more to increase your daily routine to target your key problems such as crunches, or weight lifting etc.

Reminder

You can do this routine in the morning or at night and when you finally start to build up your resilience you can do it both day and night. This will help to tone and shape faster along with eating healthier portion sizes.

Also, you don't have to beat yourself up too badly. Be sure to reward yourself occasionally for your efforts with a small cheat but you must go back to your daily routine afterwards.
